What are your office hours?
We know everyone has different schedules, so are proud to offer 7-day customer service
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 5pm

During this time we return calls, fill schedule requests, change appointments, etc.
After hours we do our best to return texts & emails, so please be patient.

What Are Your Service Hours?
Pet-sitting and dog walking visits are typically done between 7:00 am to 9:00 pm 7 days a week.
Doggy Sleepovers or Overnight visits are also available, where pick up & drop off times vary per your needs.
Why should I choose Calling All Dogs and not the neighbor or teen down the street?
Can a teen handle a medical emergency involving your pet? What if your house was broken into, a water heater leak, or the cat escaped outside? Are they honor-bound to care for your baby and meet your exact expectations? Does their reputation in the community depend on making sure you are 100% happy with the care of your most precious possessions? There are about 15 or so other 100% valid reasons.
What do you do on a typical visit?
We can do whatever you want in the time that you contract us to be there. Our pet sitting visits can include: Feeding per your instructions, fresh water, clean bowls, dog walks, love and playtime, brushing, and quick potty breaks. We also clean litter box or bird cage , bring in mail and newspaper, water plants, and turn lights on or off.  And of course, lots of TLC.

Do You Always Visit The Exact Time We Ask? We book your visits within a 2-hour time block and will be there during that time. If time is critical, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you
Do we get to meet our pet sitter?
Yes! In fact, we insist on it. We provide a complimentary Meet & Greet to our new clients. The goal of this meeting is for you to explain all your home and pets’ routines and make sure both parties are the right fit for each other.

Do We Get The Same Sitter Every Time?
Our goal is that you have the same sitter each time. Even though we have a large staff, we assign one pet sitter to your household so that you and your pets can establish and maintain a personal relationship with your pet sitter. If your primary pet sitter is booked up, sick, or out of town, we will provide a back-up sitter to care for your pets. We will never cancel a confirmed pet sitting assignment last minute and leave you in a bind.

Do You Pet Sitters Get a Background Check?
Absolutely. All of our pet sitters are bonded, fully insured, and background checked. The interview process includes several steps to gather detailed information about the pet sitter and an interview with our owner. All pet sitters authorize a personal/work reference check and a criminal background check. In addition, all pet sitters sign a thorough Independent Contractor’s agreement that outlines our company rules and expectations. After all this is complete, we have a training program which includes shadowing our experienced pet sitters
What kind of animals & breeds do you care for?
We work with all dog breeds and sizes. We serve all companion animals, such as cats, birds, rabbits, and exotics. But, we will not provide services to an animal with a history of aggression. We ask if your pet has a history of aggression and it’s very important that you are honest with us about this. Although we are experienced in pet care, we are not trainers or behaviorist. Our pet sitter’s safety is most important.
How do we pay? What form of payments do you accept?
We send invoices each week you have services. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cash or Check.

Do You Have Any Surcharges?
A $5 service fee per visit is applied to each visit for holidays including but not limited to: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. We may also charge a $10 convenience fee for visits requested with less than 24 hours-notice.
Do you have a referral program?
As part of Calling All Dogs Referral Rewards Program, referring clients will receive a FREE VISIT credit on your account when the referred party books 5 visits with us.  There is no limit to how many credits you can get so spread the word.
Can I tip my sitter?
YES! 100% of all tips left for Calling All Dogs pet sitters’ go to them. Your sitters care for your pets with a great deal of love and frequently go “above and beyond” the call of duty. If you were provided with great service it is appropriate to tip your pet sitter 10-20% of the total bill if you wish to do so.

The neighborhoods of: Carillon, Gateway, Riviera Bay, Meadow Lawn, Barclay Estates, Shore Acres, Old Northeast, Downtown, Kenwood, Mid St Pete, Tropical Shores, Pinellas Point, Lakewood, Gulfport, Pasadena, Tyrone, and Jungle Prada.

How do I make reservations? How much notice do you need to schedule?
We try to make this as simple as possible. You can call, text, or email us directly so we can schedule the visits for you or you can schedule them yourself online. Please try to give at least a few days notice for pet sitting assignments or new client “meet & greets” so that we have time to arrange services with your pet sitter. If you regularly request last minute/same day service, there may be a last-minute reservation fee.
If you are out of town for longer than expected, no need to worry, as we continue to service your home and pets until you return home.
Do you have a cancellation policy? If you need to cancel pet sitting appointments, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Regular fees will apply if the pet sitter travels to your home and you did not cancel. For Doggy Sleepovers or Overnights, 50% non-refundable deposit is required after booking dates to hold dates
